Sunday Dress

Joanna looked so pretty in her Sunday dress that I couldn't help but take way too many pictures. :) She also makes so many cute faces that it was too hard to narrow these down to just a couple, so just enjoy them all!

Walks

We love to go for walks, but we have to fight the heat and the mosquitoes! I bought a mosquito net for Joanna's carrier, so that makes it a little better!

Crisp/Cobbler Dessert

Matt and I have made this dessert twice now. The first time we used peaches and the second time we used apples. It is really simple to make and it tastes DELICIOUS (though this isn't a healthy recipe, by any means).

You can click the link below for the original recipe, but we made a few changes, so I'll list those here. We half the recipe, which makes about four large servings. I just bake it in a small casserole dish instead of a bundt pan. We also cut back on the sugar and butter because... well... it calls for a lot of sugar and butter. You can just eyeball it when you're adding those in. You'll be able to tell when there is enough.

Enjoy!

Little Swimmer

A while back we bought a kiddie pool for Penny so she could keep cool outside during the hot summer months. She wouldn't have anything to do with it. We picked her up and put her in at one point, and she didn't flip out, but she never would get in voluntarily. So, since we had a kiddie pool just sitting in the back yard, I decided to see if Joanna liked it. Her first reaction, as you'll see below, was not a pleasant one, but she quickly calmed down and ended up really liking it!

Batman

Before Joanna was born, Matt picked out a Batman outfit for her. We took her picture in it when she was 2-weeks old, and again at 10-weeks. She makes a pretty cute little Batman!

2-weeks and 10-weeks!

I had Batman, I mean Joanna, in the wrap and she INSISTED on having her head back. When I would pick it up and try to reposition her, she would scream at me. I have no idea how she could be stubborn already. Neither of her parents are stubborn. Ever.

Batman has cuddly moments, too.
