St. Edwards Park

Matt and I have talked about wanting to find a place nearby where we can take Ginny out and hike some. We took her out to the lake a while back, but it was still a pretty far drive out there. Luckily, we recently discovered a park that is really close to our apartment so we went out there to check it out today. It is less than 4 miles from our apartment! We really liked it... there were several other dogs out there and Ginny did GREAT. She even played in the water a little bit. :) The weather was absolutely perfect for hiking today... it won't last long, though (it hit 87 degrees on Thursday)!

This particular spot was really neat. If we could get some rain, it would be beautiful, I'm sure. There was a little bit of water trickling over the edge, but not much.

We had a great time! It would do all three of us some good to go more often and get some exercise, so hopefully we'll go back soon and check out some more of the trails. :)

Still Here

Anyone still out there?

I'm sure that is what many of you are saying about me right now. :) I know I haven't posted in a while. Things have been pretty busy at for us since the new semester started up and, frankly, we haven't done much worth blogging about. Matt will graduate in May with an MA in Theological Studies, and I am still chugging along working on my undergraduate degree.

I have tried to think of something interesting to blog about, but there just isn't much right now. I will just leave you with these two sweet pictures of Matt serenading the dog. She is scared to death of his trombone, but loves when he plays the guitar. :)
