To Come

Well my computer is BACK in IT for a possible bad hard drive...
HOWEVER, I am working on some spring break posts complete with hundreds of pictures (courtesy of mom) :) Like this one...

(all together now, "Aaawwwww....")

Anyway, there is a ton to tell, so I'm not promising it will all be up right away once I get my computer back, but just know that I am working on it.

In the meantime, I just got back from my first soccer game of the year. We won 1-0. I didn't do anything fantastic, but I made a few ok plays. I'm pretty exhausted from it though, plus it is late, so I am off to bed for now!

Burrito Game

Below I have posted some videos of us playing the game "Burrito". I remember playing this game with Brad when we were little, and one day I thought to introduce it to my roommates. We got pretty bored tonight so we decided to play... and to videotape ourselves playing. :) The object of the game is to be all wrapped up in a blanket (like a burrito) then to try to get the other person on the floor first. One person starts on top of the couch, and the other person just lays on the couch. (the secret if you are on top is to try to wedge yourself between the back of the couch and the other person so you can scoot them off) You'll get the idea when you watch the videos. They are quite amusing, I think. Enjoy!

This first one is Jessica (on top) and Karlie. Karlie didn't move around too much in this one. At the end, Jessica jumps up and down in her burrito to celebrate her victory. :)

This one is me (on top) and Kirby. While we were "wrestling" we hit our heads really hard! You can't really see them hit in the video, but you'll notice that we both scream, Kirby falls off the couch, then we just lay there in pain. :)



OK, here is the last one! This is Jessica (on top) and Karlie. Karlie kept talking about that she had to use the bathroom and (jokingly) that she hoped she didn't go on Jessica while they were playing. Well while Jessica was out of the room, Karlie and Kirby got a small cup and put a little bit of water in it to hide inside of Karlie's "burrito". That way, while they were wrestling, Karlie could dump it out and convince Jessica that she wet herself. Well before they could get it all tucked away, Jessica started to come into the room so I went and distracted her for a minute. So everyone got situated to start the game. Well when Karlie rolled off the top, her shoulder pounded Jessica's face (you can see it in the video; its hilarious!). So Karlie just rolled off the couch. Then, when she started unwrapping herself, we all saw the huge wet spot on her leg! Hahaha! I think we had Jessica convinced for just a minute before she saw the cup. At the very end Jessica calls us all "turds" then realizes why I was distracting her before. :)

So those are the adventurous stories from our Burrito game tonight! The videos made me laugh a lot so I just thought I'd share. :)

Cinnamon Pecan...

CEREAL! That's right... Special K Cinnamon Pecan cereal. It is WONDERFUL! I highly recommend it. :) SO GO BUY SOME!

Pretty Day!

The weather today was AMAZING! :)

It was so nice that Kirby and I decided to go play tennis this afternoon. There is a small park close to campus that has a tennis court so we went over there. Neither one of us are any good. Kirby at least played some in high school so she at least knew kind of what she was doing. My "summer lessons" didn't help me out too much, really. However, the more we played the better I got! We had a lot of fun. Right next to us there were two sixth grade boys who were playing basketball. We had been talking to one of them for a while (he was there when we got there) so we decided to challenge him and his friend to some two on two. You would think we would show some mercy on some little boys that would be scarred for life if they got beat by girls... but we didn't. WE BEAT THEM! Hahaha! They were good sports about it. Really, they were pretty good. We didn't win by much. However, pretty soon their 17 year old, 6"4 friend showed up and decided to play on their team... so we lost and went home. :)

Anyway, all that is to say that we enjoyed the pretty weather today and I'm ready for it to STAY this way! I'm sure we have snow in the forecast for next week though... haha. It wouldn't surprise me around here.

Official!

Well it's official! Matt and I will be spending our summer in the beautiful Glenwood Springs, Colorado! I typed up a lovely little summary about the church and the town the other day, then my computer shut down! I took it to IT and they said my system board crashed... whatever that means. So anyway, I won't lose all my files, but I am using a "loner laptop" until they get it fixed so I don't have them right now. They said they should have it fixed by Wednesday so I should have more posted soon.

Woohoo! Matt and I were offered the position at Glenwood Springs. We still have a lot to talk about and to decide on, but we're so excited! :) Thanks for your prayers!

No Moe

Unfortunately, I have some VERY sad news. There is no more Moe's.
THEY CLOSED!
:( They gave no notice whatsoever and just shut their doors. My friend, Jordan, worked there and one day at work they just told her that they were closing for good THAT DAY. We don't know why, or anything. All I know is that I am very sad. I loved Moe's... :(
