I had a tickle in my throat...

Well camp is over! Whew, it was an exhausting week! My group for Cornerstone was slightly more difficult than my group at Zenith. They were not at all BAD, but... well, they were in middle school! I think that explains it well enough. My patience was really tested that week. I had a few select kids that decided to really buddy up with me the whole week. They had a great time, so for that I am thankful, but I was sure glad when it was all over with! Even though I said I would, I did NOT take pictures. Sorry!

On Saturday, Matt and I came to Gainesville for one of my friend's wedding. I went to high school with her and played sports with her for a long time. It was a very different wedding from what I have experienced in the past, but it was still nice. I got to visit with some friends from high school for a little while, so that was nice too. Afterwards, we went back to the house and Nana, Grangoat, and Elijah were swimming! It was so hot that day, so it was perfect swimming weather. Elijah said, "Laur Laur get in the water!" and I told him that I couldn't because I didn't have a swimsuit and he responded, "Laur Laur get in the water in your shorts!" I resisted at first until he added that sweet little "Please" at the end of it... then i gave in. I got in with him for a few minutes then Matt and I headed back to Sherman.

On Friday night I am going to a Rangers game with Matt and his brother and his wife. Then Saturday SOMEBODY I know is turning 50. I won't mention any names... but I will be spending time with that person.

*cough* MOM *cough* Excuse me, I had a tickle in my throat... :)

Tonight for church we are watching the movie Facing the Giants. I have heard a lot of reviews on it but I have never seen it. I am looking forward to it though! I think that most people who read my blog have seen it (as far as I know), but I will give my own review of it after I've seen it!

Well I have to get poster board and markers from Wal-Mart for an activity tonight! I will try to think of something really interesting to post next time... "try" was the key word there.

The sweetness of Elijah is pretty hard to resist! Glad you're home - can't wait to see you tomorrow. :-)
