I'm still here!

Hey everyone, I'm still here! Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Things have been really crazy here lately! I will try to catch yall up on everything.
On Saturday, Matt and I drove to Gainesville and met up with mom and dad to go to the Rangers game! First we drove to Fort Worth and dropped Trigger-face off at Jason and Summer's house. I think he was glad to be home! Then we went to Bangkok. I looove Bangkok! After dinner we went on over to the Ballpark even though we still had a while before the game started. We walked around some then went to the Legends museum. The museum was really interesting but my favorite part was going to the kids section! We took a field trip there when I was in 3rd or 4th grade so it was pretty fun to go to it all again. Sadly my favorite part of the kids section was broken! It is a thing where you sit down and put your face in the catchers mask and you see a video of Nolan Ryan pitching to you. Then you put your hand in the glove that is attached to the wall and you can see what it feels like to catch one of his pitches! I remember that I LOVED that when I came on the field trip, but the glove was on the "disabled list". It was still a lot of fun though! Once we finished going through the musuem it was about time for the game to start. We played the Red Sox and there were TONS of Red Sox fans there! I didn't get my hopes too high on the Rangers winning, but I was still hoping that they would! Well the Rangers came out there and they were doing awesome! It was a really good game up until the 6th inning and Boston just started taking over. The Rangers couldn't do ANYTHING! It was pretty frustrating. Well then we got to the 9th inning and Boston was up 7-4. The Rangers were up to bat with two runners on base and two outs. All we needed was a homerun! The guy hits the ball and it goes flying way out to center field and it looks like its gone but it falls JUST short of the wall and the center fielder caught it... it was so terribly sad. All in all it was still a lot of fun, but it would've been even MORE fun if we could've pulled off a win there at the end. Ooooh well. So after the game we went back to Jason and Summer's house and Matt and I headed back to Denison. It was a pretty fun day!
On Sunday morning I went in with the Jr. High class because I hadn't met very many of the younger kids. They were a lot of fun and I was really impressed by their excitement in Bible class. After church I had a guy come over and introduce himself to me and he said, "Hey... I think I may know some of your family." He told me that he was from Breckenridge so I immediately knew that he had to know Uncle Jim! He also told me that my aunt Sharron used to babysit him a lot when he was younger. I thought it was pretty neat. I called Sharron to tell her and she said his name is Craig Dennis. (I wasn't sure of his last name)
On Saturday afternoon we met together to have Senior Night Out. We took all of the graduating seniors and the juniors for a night out. First we went to Plano and played a couple of games of Lazer Tag which was a lot of fun. I had never played before so I didn't always know what was going on but I managed to do pretty well. After Lazer Tag we played Whirley Ball. I had never even heard of that so I am going to assume that none of you have either. Basically it is bumper cars, basketball, and whatever sport it is that you use the little curved basket things on a stick all in one! It was sooo much fun! Everyone had a few bumps and bruises by the end of it from being bumped up against the wall one too many times, but everyone was having a great time. When we finished there we went to Magic Time Machine where we had Superman as our waiter. He was a little strange, but all in all really good. We hung out there for a while just visiting and having a good time. Then the last event of the night was going to Main Event! We each had about $15 to play some video games. By the time we finished there most of us were pretty tired! In fact, a lot of people ended up falling asleep on the bus... like me!
Since we were out so late Sunday night we didn't have to come to work until that afternoon. We just worked for a few hours then Matt and I went to the place where he is staying this summer and they cooked hamburgers and smores for us! It was really nice! The smores were amazing!
After that Matt and I went over to Mitzi's house (which is where I'll be living for the rest of the summer) and got a key and a quick tour of the house. Then on Tuesday when I got a break I went ahead and moved all of my stuff from Wes and Naomi's over to Mitzi's house. I think that it is going to work out pretty well staying with her. She isn't around very much so we really don't see each other very much. She is a very laid back person and she seems pretty easy to get along with! She has a pool too... so that is a bonus. She left today for a trip with some girls to New York so I will have the house to myself for a few days. Hopefully it will give me some time to really get settled in and comfortable there.
I will go ahead and post this much since I haven't made a post in so long. I should have some time off tomorrow so I will write all about Servin' Safari and the Unstoppable Summer bash that we had tonight!
