Nana stayed with us Sunday through Tuesday to help out. I think her favorite way to help was by holding Joanna while Matt and I got some other things done. She was also super helpful in going to the grocery store for us, and for taking an early morning Joanna shift (usually around 4-5am) so I could get a couple of hours of sleep in my own bed, instead of on the couch!

Joanna is the master of goofy faces. These next several pictures were taken over the span of about 10 seconds.
Matt and I have gotten a fair amount of sleep since coming home, considering we now have a newborn, but we still like to get in our naps when we can!
Joanna takes her fair share of naps, as well!
She may or may not be a wild sleeper like her mom....
She has a few sleeping places. Of course cuddled up with mom or dad is her favorite! She also has a portable sleeper, and her crib. She has only slept in her crib a few times, but she has done really well in it. Most of the time right now she is sleeping in the portable sleeper.
Some of the teens managed to give Joanna quite a warm welcome on the church sign!
And here is my sweet family! My husband, my daughter, and my pup. I'm a happy woman!
I can't leave out sweet Penny. She has been great with Joanna so far. For the most part, she just leaves her alone. She gets concerned sometimes when Joanna cries, and sometimes sneaks over to take a peek at her, but has been very good about giving her space.
It has been an interesting week! We are slowly adjusting to this new life. We are absolutely in love with Miss Joanna and are doing our best to figure out this parenting thing. :)
