First, we went camping with Matt's brother and his family. We went to Mother Neff near Waco. Here is Matt in our new tent:
Jonathan enjoyed camping - playing with his trucks in the dirt, fishing, kicking a soccer ball, and hiking (of course, the only pictures we got are of him sitting, ha!).
Relaxing at the campsite:
When we got back, we did some house and yard work. It was exhausting, for sure, but also rewarding. Matt woke up early to mow the yard while Ginny got up in bed with me. She got up close to the window behind our bed and kept a close eye on Matt.
A while back we noticed some new plants in the front yard, but we thought it was just more weeds (we have TONS of weeds in this yard). We went out today and realized they were bluebonnets! There aren't many of them, but they sure are pretty!
On Saturday we drove to San Antonio and stayed the night there. Matt was invited to lead worship at a church there, so we just went a little early to enjoy San Antonio for a little while.
It was a bit exhausting, but we had a nice spring break!
