I have been asked if I would be interested in teaching a class at church - K-2nd grade. I NEED YOUR HELP! If I do it, I want it to be something REALLY cool and REALLY fun and REALLY creative! :) There aren't many kids that night - anywhere from two to six or seven probably. So anyway, if you have ANY suggestions, or a cool lesson book or anything, let me know please!

I really like your new heading! It's one of my favorite. I won't be much help to you on ideas for children's classes. Hopefully some more helpful people will be checking out your blog:)

Mom
Dear Lauren,
It's so exciting when you only have a few kids in a class. You will be able to know each one of them individually and give them a lot more attention that when you work with a large church.
Is the class on Sunday morning or Wd. nite?
I really, really love the book
"Teaching Kids to Care and Share"

and you can combine it with this one too:

Maybe you could start a Missions Minded Kid's Club. The 1st book covers suggestions for K-6th grade, so the lesson can be tailored and enriched to meet many age groups's learning needs.
That's my first idea of the day! But it's early in the day and I haven't got going yet! : )
Love,
Chrissy
BTW, I think it's wonderful that you're teaching. The kids will be lucky to have you!
