9 Months Old

9 Months

She has gone back to sleeping all night, which we are thankful for!
She suddenly cut back on her nursing (seems like overnight!), so she only nurses now every 4 hours, or so.
She eats almost everything we give her. She is a BIG EATER! She just doesn't like carrots.
She can scoot on her butt, or roll to get where she wants to go. She doesn't do the "traditional" crawl, and doesn't move around too much yet (meaning I'm not chasing her around the house just yet).
She is figuring out how to pull up on things, and gets better at it every day. Right now she still has some trouble getting her feet under her, and sometimes forgets she has to hold on to something once she is on her feet!
She likes to talk and make silly noises. Currently she likes to blow raspberries and wiggle her tongue back and forth while talking.
She still loves to be outside! She loves going to watch the teens play baseball, softball, and tennis!
Still no teeth!
She loves going to story time at the library. I don't know if she prefers the stories, or watching all of the kids around her!

Joanna had a special outfit to wear for Valentine's Day, thanks to her great aunt Rhonda. Part of the outfit were cute little leg warmers that were made for LITTLE legs, which as we all know, does not work for Joanna! I put them on her anyway (which Matt did not approve of, ha!) and they literally rolled down her big thighs. We got a good laugh out of it, and she looked cute anyway!

8 Month BONUS PICTURES

8 Months

She loves cinnamon pears and whole apple slices (but don't dare try to offer her applesauce!).
She had several crazy nights this month where she woke up several times wanting to nurse. Thankfully she went back to sleeping through the night shortly before she hit 8 months.
Still no teeth!
She is figuring out that she can scoot and roll and throw her body around to get around a little bit! So, still no crawling, but she is a tiny bit mobile!
She makes all sorts of silly noises, including dada, nana, bubble, and right at her 8 month birthday she finally started saying momma a little more regularly.
She will sometimes "blow kisses" with her fist.
She likes going to the park to walk and swing (though she apparently has some motion sickness... we learned that the hard, and messy, way).
She loves going to Storytime at the library. She sits quietly and listens to all of the stories!
She still prefers to be with momma or dad, but she is getting a lot better about hanging out with other people!
